Education
In 2007 I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. My undergraduate coursework at Boston College helped me develop important analytical and critical thinking skills, while my relevant experience so far has been at the small business level.
During the economic turmoil of 2008 I spent a great deal of time reflecting on the best path for me to pursue going forward. In doing so, I created a definitive plan for my career. Obtaining an MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Management was a major element of that plan, because I knew it was necessary for me to move to the next level of my long term career goals. So in August of 2010 I entered the MBA program at Boston College.
I will graduate in May with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management. As a student of the Carroll School of Management, I have participated in many outstanding projects. This included significant advisory work with New England Pension Consultants and a semester-long role as team leader for the creation of a viable business plan. By immersing myself in these types of assignments, the MBA program has allowed me to synthesize my coursework and work experience. The program has also given me a more sophisticated, formalized understanding of the complex issues that face the management of larger entities in an ever changing economy.
