Wines Foundation, Inc.

The Wines Foundation, Inc. was established in 2007 for the purpose of providing
funds for cancer research and supporting civic organizations.

The foundation is a federally recognized 501c3 public charity. Our inspiration is the legacy of service that Roy L. Wines, Jr. exemplified - a life dedicated to his family, church, country and community.

We appreciate every donation that is made.
The foundation is supported by fundraising events and donations. To insure full transparency, the firm of Markowitz, Fenelon and Bank LLP will oversee the accounting and tax aspects of the foundation.

Planned for July 17, 2009, the Second Annual Roy L. Wines, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Great Rock Golf Club in Wading River, New York.

The purpose of the tournament will be to raise funds to support Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. As one of the nation's premier cancer centers, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is committed to exceptional patient care, leading-edge research, and superb educational programs.

In 1996 Roy L. Wines, Jr. died at the age of 71 after a long bout with colon cancer. By 2010, cancer is expected to surpass heart disease as the number one killing disease in the United States. The Wines Foundation remains dedicated to supporting MSKCC in the fight against cancer. To learn more please click here.
